Gratitude Through God’s Grace

Special Gratitude Edition – Man Up Monday

Over the past few years, our family has experienced a transformation that could only have been guided by the Lord’s hand. Uprooting our lives from Southern California and planting new roots here in North Texas was not a small step—it was a leap of faith. Yet, through every uncertainty and challenge, God’s faithfulness has surrounded us. He has blessed us with a loving church community, faithful friends, and neighbors who have become family.

“The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.” — Isaiah 58:11

In every season, from the highest moments to the hardest struggles, God has been the anchor in our marriage. There have been times of testing and tears, but also times of healing and restoration. Looking back, I can only give Him all the glory for the growth we’ve experienced together — as husband and wife, and as partners walking in faith.

“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” — Ecclesiastes 4:12

I am filled with gratitude for the life we are able to build for our children — one rooted in faith, family, and purpose. Being able to homeschool them, to raise them with biblical truth, and to guide them in Christian discipline is not just a privilege — it’s a calling. Each day reminds us that the Lord is shaping their hearts as much as He is shaping ours.

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6

But above all, my greatest gratitude is for the saving grace of Jesus Christ — grace that I did nothing to earn and could never deserve. His mercy has covered my past, His Spirit strengthens my present, and His promise secures my future.

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8

When I look at where we are today — our home, our marriage, our community — I see God’s fingerprints on every detail. I see His goodness in every provision, every person He’s placed in our path, and every lesson He’s taught along the way. For all of it, I am endlessly thankful.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” — Psalm 107:1
