Live ready so that when the Lord moves, you’re set to follow Him without hesitation.

What a beautiful season of wonder to reflect on all that You’ve done to bring us home! And our Hero came as a Baby, entrusting Himself to a young couple in Bethlehem centuries ago. Thank You, Jesus.

Jesus came for all, but Jesus also came for me. Let that be the driver of my priorities and commitments over the next several days.

Thank You for becoming one of us. Thank You for simultaneously being nothing like us at all.

Thank You for not only the gifts, but for the grace from which the gifts are given. We receive not because we’re entitled, but because You are enthroned.

As we count our blessings, may we not neglect the miracle of Your nearness as most precious above all.

You are in control, and we trust You with not only our today, but an eternity of tomorrows. May we live in celebration. You have been so good to us!

May our habit be to carry thanksgiving in our hearts and on our lips, for every good thing comes from You.

True obedience is immediate obedience. Don’t put off until later what God asks of you today.

Whether or not you acknowledge God, His very involved activity in your life has one purpose – to draw you into relationship with Him.

World leaders, forces of nature, everyday circumstances – ultimately, all are subject to Him. Nothing happens that He hasn’t ordained or allowed – all for our good and His glory.

Don’t let what you see in front of you blind you to what God is doing behind the veil. He’s always at work, and His good and perfect will always prevails.

Jesus has taken on the sins of our youth – and our yesterday and our “five minutes ago” – and has covered them in His righteous blood.

Your Spirit stirs in our hearts a homesickness for a land we’ve never visited and a longing for a life we’ve yet to live.

A spirit of contentment and humility – one that delights to obey the Lord and to honor Jesus Christ in that obedience – will allow God to do great things in and through you for the sake of His kingdom.

You, Father, have come alongside me, placed Your hands over mine, and taken up the work of transforming me into Your image.

Jesus Christ is the clear revelation of God to humanity. He speaks of what He’s seen in heaven. His words are God’s words. He is God the Son and the Savior of the world.

Never believe you’re beyond the reach and transformation of God. He knows the truest, deepest, most shameful parts of your story and has chosen to “love you till the end.”

When you have the opportunity, love like Mary, who loved extravagantly. And most of all, love like Jesus, Who loved sacrificially.

(God) sees your journey from beginning to end – the snares, the opposition, the danger. He leads you on the safest, most beneficial path, and you’ll be wise to follow Him. Your Father leads out of love. Trust Him.
