Time For a New Rhythm

Dear friends,

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1) How true that is! Here in Texas we’re just now seeing scorcher days where the temperatures cross the 100-degree mark. Summer seems to have made itself at home, but the fall routine is unabashedly encroaching on its territory.

Teachers are now back in the classroom, and students are soon to follow. Friday night lights are about to shine on football fields across the country. The lazy days of summer are reluctantly handing over the keys to homework, sports schedules, and early bedtimes for kids.

While it’s nowhere near pumpkin spice latte and sweater weather where we live, change is definitely in the air. Our youngest grandchild officially starts “big school” this year. My sweetheart is working reduced hours these days so I’m enjoying more quality time with him. Prayer, godly counsel and life in general have me believing that now is a good time for a new rhythm.

“November Roses” has been, is, and will continue to be God’s gift to me as I pass along stories and truths from His Word. The goal remains: to provide “a quiet place for your soul to pause and be reminded of the goodness of God.” I’m just changing up the timing a bit.

“Pocket Thoughts” will still find its way into your inbox on Fridays. Attributes of God, reflections on Scripture, prayer, wisdom, and helpful verses – you’ll find these waiting for you as the week winds down.

Going forward, stories will most likely post only on Tuesdays, but don’t nail me down on that. 😊 The occasional bonus story may also pop up now and again so if you enjoy “November Roses,” I hope you’re surprised and blessed by those random posts.

And November? Well, you know November will be full of content because that’s where this little party came to life! We’ll be celebrating God, giving thanks to Him, and rejoicing like the soul-saved saints that we are! 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says, “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” God is good, and we’re going to declare that all month long!

Friends, thank you for allowing me to be a part of just a few minutes of your day. So much prayer goes into each post, and I’m grateful that you take the time to read and sometimes let me know how God has used a few words on a screen to strengthen, bless, and encourage you. Thank you for subscribing to emails, following on social media, and sharing with others. Thank you for grace as I implement this schedule change.

Y’all are sweet. (That’s a big compliment in Texas.) Soli Deo gloria.

Love,

Tiffany
