A Change of Wardrobe
An ordinary person submits to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and is transformed into a completely different being. A “mere mortal” is wrapped in vestments of salvation and is called into new life as “Christ’s ambassador.” (2 Corinthians 5:20)
In the Right Hands
Her slip of paper providentially found its way into the hands of a faithful prayer warrior. Her words were few and simple but loaded with angst and weariness: “I’m burned out. Not sure how much longer I can do this. Please pray for me.”
Spiritual Motherhood
There’s not a whole lot that I’ve loved about aging, but I wear the badge of “older woman” in the church with humility and gratitude. I pray that God helps me to live a life worthy of the calling given in Titus 2:3-5.
The Most Amazing Things
Consecrate yourself, my friend – for tomorrow (and the next day and the next day and the next day) the Lord will do amazing things. The river will one day impossibly part, and you’ll find your feet walking on the dry ground He’s provided to arrive at the destination He’s purposed for you.
Slivers of Light
Breathe, my friends. The Kingdom draws nearer with each passing day, and all who love the King will be drawn together as His family.
