We have only to turn to Your Word to be reminded of Your character and Your goodness, Your sovereignty and Your holiness. Let us not deny what we find there.

A penitent heart is never turned away by our loving God. Confession is the exposure of the layers of our sin so that the healing of our souls can begin.

This is not the painting of a God in the distance. You are near, and You love us.
