(Jesus) redeemed us. Not with flowers. Not with jewelry. Not with dinner reservations at an exclusive restaurant. He redeemed us with His blood. We love because He first loved us.

May I bend to love and serve the lost and the lowly, remembering that the seeking eyes of the Savior once sought me out when I, too, was lost and lowly.
