…God calls His people to care and to act. Like Nehemiah, we do what we can to push back the darkness, and it starts with mourning the state of the world and seeking God’s help to make a difference.

God, help us to be grateful. There’s no shortage of Your blessings – only a shortage of our noticing, humbling, and thanking.

Only Jesus is worthy to fulfill the Father’s mission to rescue the repentant and to perfectly judge the wicked.
