Looking back over the past two years, I am so grateful that my parents sent me to a new school for high school. At first I was nervous, but now I look back and I can totally see how God was guiding every single step. He gave me teachers who genuinely love Jesus and friends who push me to love Him more every day. I didn’t just end up here by accident...God placed me exactly where He wanted me.
One of the biggest blessings happened even before school started. The summer before my freshman year, during strength and conditioning, an older girl asked me to come to a Bible study she was leading. I had no idea how big a deal that moment would be. I showed up and immediately met a whole group of girls my age who loved Jesus. They welcomed me, included me, and showed me what real Christian friendship looks like. When I look back, I’m just overwhelmed with gratitude. God was writing a story for me long before I realized it. God knew exactly what I needed...the right school, the right people, the right community. And I’m so thankful He led me here.
